Josh: Hi, Kate. Long time no see. How are things?

Kate: Oh, hi, Josh. It's so good to see you. I'm fine, thanks. What about you?

Josh: Not bad, thanks. It's our summer holidays after all. One is supposed to enjoy them, right?

Kate: How can I possibly enjoy my summer holidays in such weather? The rain is killing me. It has been raining for two weeks already, hasn't it?

Josh: I think so. Still, I don't mind it.

Kate: Don't you feel bored? I don't have anything interesting to do. I don't like reading and there's nothing good on TV, so I feel trapped.

Josh: Well, I play board games with my sister and her friends.

Kate: Board games? Who plays Monopoly at the age of seventeen? It's even more boring than watching all those endless talk shows on TV.

Josh: We don't play Monopoly. We play Cluedo.

Kate: I have never heard about this game. Tell me about it, please.

Josh: Basically, this is a board game for a small group, six players maximum. It's a murder mystery game. According to the game plot, someone has been killed and the players assume the roles of the suspects. Each player has some certain information about the murder, but they need more to solve the puzzle, so you have to be very careful not to reveal your information to other players and learn as much information from them as possible at the same time.

Kate: It must have a game board then. Do the players have to move around it to collect the clues about the circumstances of the crime?

Josh: Exactly. The board represents an old mansion with many rooms. You throw a dice and move around the board.

Kate: It reminds me of Agatha Christie's detective stories. You know, an old castle, several people who are stuck there for some reason, and there's a crime. One of those people has committed it. But who?

Josh: I've never thought about it, but I think you're right. Probably, the game developer was inspired by Agatha Christie's stories. I'll have to look it up on the internet. Anyway, the rules of the game leave the players three hundred and twenty-four possibilities, so you won't get bored playing it.

Kate: The game seems to be very exciting. Will you invite me to play with you some day?

Josh: Sure. The more players, the better. Why don't you join us tonight? Let's say six o'clock?

Kate: I'll have to ask my mother about it, but I'm sure she won't mind.

Josh: It's a date then. I'm sure you'll enjoy the game, Kate.

Kate: Thanks, Josh. So see you in the evening.
